Chamonix, on the French side of Mont Blanc, in addition to the famous Le Mer de Glace glacier, offers other unmissable naturalistic attractions: the Lac Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi.
The itinerary that leads to Lac Blanc is truly overwhelming for the views of Mont Blanc that surround it; for the hiker who undertakes the crossing, no meter will be trivial or repetitive! Starting from the Col des Montets at an altitude of 1430 m, through an initial bush of fir trees, in an hour you reach the first panoramic break: the Col des Aiguillettes d ‘Argentiere at 1890 meters. From here, always following the signs for the target lake, the most intense climb begins, called echellettes, which, through steep stairs, leads to the Cheserys lakes located in a valley of glacial origin. After taking a breath and taking the snapshots, continue to the most famous and immortalized of the lakes: the candid Lac Blanc, close to which you can take a moment to relax at the refuge of the same name. After about 3 hours of walking, we are at an altitude of 2352 meters, full of satisfaction. The whirlwind descent begins estimated time of 2 hours. 
A site reachable with less physical effort, it is the Aiguille du Midi, at 3777 meters it is the most satisfying panoramic point of the valley! From the center of Chamonix, the cable car of the same name leads to the terraces from which to enjoy a 360-degree view of all the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. Furthermore, from here, with an elevator that leads up to 3842 meters you will find yourself face to face with Mont Blanc; a real concentrate of breathtaking emotions! Finding yourself in a glass cube suspended at a thousand meters with a total emptiness under your feet causes unrepeatable shivers in anyone. An unforgettable experience and difficult to reproduce in words.
